This is a cute story and I’m glad you shared it with us! You do a nice job of showing us the images, but one thing to think about is how you are holding the phone when you are reading to us. We are often conditioned to think about read alouds as holding the book to the side and reading the text from there. I want to encourage you (and everyone) to think about that positioning and how it closes off part of your body and face from some of your listeners. If you are showing us the pictures after anyway, it’s ok to keep the book in front of you. Kids will adjust to the idea that you will fan the illustration after. You do some nice things with some of the verbs (flatten a tiny dancer) – keep going further! Play with it and imagine how this can be bigger for a group of children.
