Hello. My name is Ariana Loyfman. I am a fourth year education major (grades 1-6) with a concentration in children and youth studies. I have wanted to become a teacher for as long as I could remember because I love working with children and guiding them in education while also creating a fun and memorable environment for them to remember. A fun fact about me is that I speak both Russian and English fluently.
Some fun facts about me are that I speak both Russian and English fluently, I am a first generation American to parents who are Russian-speaking Jews from the former Soviet Union, I love spending time with family and friends, and I love to listen to music!
One of my favorite reading memories is when I was about 6-7 years old I found a children’s book in my grandparents house and decided to read it. As I read it to myself, I learned a very valuable lesson from the story of how small acts of kindness can go a long way in a persons life. This book and the lesson that it taught me has stuck with me since that day. The book that I am referring to is called, “Somebody Loves You, Mr.Hatch” by Eileen Spinelli.
