    Anne has a vibrant personality, an endless imagination, and a deep want to fit in. Her vibrant individualism resonates with contemporary concepts of embracing originality and creativity, and it feels startlingly modern. However, the book has a dated feel to it because of certain elements, such the demands society placed on gender and ettiqutte in the early 20th century. Though they differ in how they emphasize Anne’s complexity—balancing her fanciful fantasies with her vulnerabilities—film adaptations frequently capture her energy and development. The greatest adaptations make sure Anne is approachable to readers of all ages by preserving the book’s gentle examination of discovered family, resiliency, and the universal yearning for acceptance and love.

    I think Anne is full of life and has a huge imagination. Anne does resemble certain contemporary concepts such as her originality and the creativity she shows. It feels modern. The book does have a dated feel to it because it is set in the early 20th century. There are elements such as gender roles and certain protocols and ways of life. I think that the adaptations help Anne be able to been enjoyed and more understood by young people and people of all ages in modern times.

        Anne is very warm hearted and has an astonishing imagination full of creativity. Her uniqueness and the way she presents herself in such an original way is shown through the contemporary concepts. You can absolutely feel the 20th century in the book especially in the way that certain roles are being given to certain genders. The way people took care of day to day duties in the 20th century are definitely felt.

    I think that Anne is a very interesting character who has a vibrant and bubbly personality. Her character offers a new and unique story, which has been interesting for readers over time. I think that her story does feel contemporary because a lot of the present themes and situations her character goes through are universal and relatable. Her challenges with love, identity, and belonging are things that people have related to and continue to do, making the story releavent for a long period of time. Overall, the various filmed versions capture her personal struggles with trauma and identity through a modern view.

    I think Anne has a very lively, outgoing, and vibrant personality and she does resemble some contemporary concepts through her originality that showcases uniqueness and fostering creative expression all within her personality and perspective. The book does feel slightly dated but because of some of the written language used within the novel that sounds like standards seen from the early 20th century, such as expectations and perspectives of gender roles and family life. I think the various filmed versions captured a more modern and updated adaptation of this story, as various scenes and films focus on creating universal themes that a variety of ages (young audiences to teens) are able to relate to while watching.

    I think each version of this story was able to capture Anne’s big personality and wise and unique characteristics. Certain factors of this story such as gender roles are both relevant and important throughout different times in history even though in modern day most people can not relate to all aspects of these roles. However, wanting to be understood and accepted for your imagination and creative ideas is something that many people throughout many different time frames can relate to.

      I agree that many factors of this original story does play out through the many times of it being told! From each version you can see these messages shown in different ways as Anne continuously is a girl with a big personality and outgoing characteristics.

    I think that Annie is a fiercely independent girl who has a spirited personality with a very wide imagination. Annie feels contemporary because of her independence and staying true to herself. Also how she views her friendships and relationships is a value of their characters and her passion for her connection with nature and the world around her. The book may be updated but it still appeals to readers of all ages. These various filmed versions capture her character and story by showing Annie’s colorful imagination, and her independence yet they also show her emotional depth and flaws differently.

    I think Anne definitely has personality such as very outgoing and bubbly based off that I do think she has somewhat of contemporary. I think the book does feel dated. They capture her character that she is.

    Anne is a girl with a bright appearance, red/orange hair because of which she is called carrot, she loves to talk a lot,can stand up for herself, and can also be kind and friendly. I think yes that the book feels dated because of the language and some words that people do not use anymore.

    With her captivating style, Anne crafts a unique story that has captivated readers for a significant duration. A lot of people can relate to what she’s saying about love, identity, and feeling like you fit. Anne represents a modern idea because of how unique and friendly she is. Modern movies show her pain and identity problems, making her stand out and pushing her to express herself through art. The book may seem old because it uses words from the early 1900s. But the movies bring the story up to date and add themes that are appropriate for all ages.

    Anne’s imagination, individuality, and resilience is something that makes her character unique and interesting. I think Anne feels modern in her creativity, resilience, and individuality, but the old fashioned social rules, slower storytelling, and limited diversity reflect the book’s early century origins which makes the book feel dated.

    Anne has a very unique personality, she has a bright appearance which makes her stand out. Her hair and features are what make her stand out and she has creativity and imagination. This book does feel dated because of the gender etiquette and the social norms. Such as the way girls would dress compared to the boys and the roles they played during that time period.

    As my classmates have said, Anne is very outgoing and independent, which I think makes her relatable even today. Her curiosity and sense of humor feel modern, but some things, like her focus on proper manners, show the time the book was written. The story can feel outdated with its views on gender roles, but Anne’s struggles with finding herself and fitting in are things anyone can relate to. I also really like how she looks appearance-wise—very bright, just like her personality.

    Anne as she was written is meant to be a character who is imaginative, outgoing and courageous. Anne doesnt feel contemporary because this helps children build their confidence. The book doesnt feel dated it feels a little like the older times. The various films capture her personality.

    The concept of Anne story line, is that she is not afraid to be herself at home nor at school. Anne is showing an example to be yourself and you will still be successful. You have to trust and believe.
